Saw these just come out. Wonder if they’ll be retrofittable to old S plaids. Interestingly not available on X but should be compatible I’d assume.

The current seats are an unrestricted item with a plaid vin. I'd assume the same.Officially retrofittable is an open question.
Unofficially it should be doable. But whether or not they’ll sell you the parts or how much they’d charge, who knows.
Would be cool to buy those as an upgrade. The current seats are an unrestricted item with a plaid vin. I'd assume the same.
They still look red on my endBy the way, from the photos, I also noticed changes to the brake calipers color... they are yellow on the configurator.

I think the bigger issue with a retrofit is the programming. Sounds like they're more adjustable than the standard seats so the car will likely need a config update to recognize them, properly store profile settings, etc etc.The current seats are an unrestricted item with a plaid vin. I'd assume the same.
You win some and you lose some with Tesla. This year seems to be improvements. Losing the ultrasonics last year sucked. The longer I want to make my purchase, the better the Model S Plaid is getting. Just imagine what another 2 years will do.
I can see the new seats in the configuration so I’d say it’s accurateNow those are reaaaallly unique seats!!! Love the Chamois-like leather also.
Does anyone here still trust Teslascope who made false claims on March 1, that start 3/1/24 all case produced since then will have ambient lights and front camera? They made it seem like they know what they are talking about, and it's been month and a half now and they are proven to be a scam. They at least failed to report on the real changes, such as the seats. Just imagine how many people refused delivery only cause of their false/fake news.

I’ve been told $3,500 for each front seat which would be $7,000. I haven’t priced the new rears yet.If official retrofit is available, I’m guessing $5-6k for front seats and install. What’s everyone else guess?
