You wanted a center horn and better material, check. You didn't specify stitching, sorry. That stitching looks bad tbh. Like a 3rd party part. The worm betrays it as genuine though. So if I want to replace my 2023 wheel with the center horn will Tesla do it (on my dime of course)?
To be fair you touch the stitching on the old one on the back side.Oh man ... most can't be pleased 100%. To me it's worthy of golden hinges accolades.
Yes, the horn is in the center. The previous horn button is now a camera button. Is that a horn symbol on the bottom of the airbag?
I have the wheel not the yoke so thought the stitching is irrelevant - want to replace a wheel with a horn button with a center horn wheel (“improved” stitching or not)You wanted a center horn and better material, check. You didn't specify stitching, sorry.
Thanks for this info... I am going to go ahead and put in my service claim since I have a whole list of items in addition to the peeling yoke lol....I received Mobile Service scheduling by my local SC for the replacement on 4/4. They expect replacement yoke inventory to be available by end of March.
Hmm I have the same one but turn signals are fine, exactly like where were on the original oneReasonably enjoying mine, except for the really stiff turn signals...
I think it's yoke manufacturing variance, to be honest.Hmm I have the same one but turn signals are fine, exactly like where were on the original one
Is that a replacement, or on a new 2024 model?Reasonably enjoying mine, except for the really stiff turn signals...
Replacement. As I understand it, there are variances in these new yokes. You might get stiff turn signals or you might not. Such is The Way of Tesla. Is that a replacement, or on a new 2024 model?
To update on this. I decided I would pop by Tesla, and have them replace my updated yoke. The replacement turn signals are PERFECT. Not hard to press like my first replacement. So if you end up with a yoke with turn signals needing too firm of a press, get it replaced.Replacement. As I understand it, there are variances in these new yokes. Ah, great! I need to be more picky. I might have accepted thinking that's how they are.To update on this. I decided I would pop by Tesla, and have them replace my updated yoke.
