Or it’s simply a new year and they try and swap every order to inventory to get rid of stuff built in 2017 forcing a turn over of stock. Inventory falls as they dont release 2018 inventory, when the numbers are low enough we get an explosion of inventory appear as they put the 2018 inventory up.
. I wonder if Tesla just updates all the VINs in new inventory so they show as 2018 models instead of 2017 leftover models
And it isn't 0, it is unavailable. For several years now I have seen multiple cars in the inventory - go to 0. Then later on the same cars re-appears.
It's not even usually unavailable (although that happens when a car is reserved), more often than not it's just not shown on the Tesla listing of inventory but is there all along if you know how to find it
I agree.
What kWh battery does your pick truck have? AP1 or 2?
That’s a lot of kWh for a mere 300 mile range.36 gallons of gas = 1078.4 kWhs. AP0 = my brain.
That’s a lot of kWh for a mere 300 mile range.
And no thanks, I wil use my brain for more productive things like gazing outside lazily and reach my destination more relaxed.
Different strokes for different people.
Visited a Tesla gallery in the mall yesterday and was told by a Product Specialist that there are lots of new inventory cars that have not been released for sale. They expect a large number of cars to be released “in the next few weeks”.
I’m not always sure these Tesla folks know much more than we do. But that’s a FWIW observation.
Same here. I already custom ordered a car and if an inventory shows up with my spec I'll switch over.
I tweeted Elon this morning that maybe Tesla should consider offering a Ludicrous Upgrade for an additional $5,000 again on all the 31 CPO P85D's to get them moved.
Definitely would make them more attractive IMHO.
If you agree Tweet / email him with this recommendation too.
They can barely recondition their CPOs and get them to customers in a reasonable time. What makes you think they have the resources and the ability to add a Ludicrous update on top of that? Plus, it seems like they are not even selling this option so it must be not worth their effort...
I posted this on the other thread where you posted, but the only thing I see that will move the P85Ds is a price adjustment and that's likely what will happen.
You may be correct. Time will tell.
In the meantime my $5,000 Ludicrous Upgrade suggestion was just a potential way for Tesla to move all the CPO P85D's Tesla had in inventory. However from a selfish standpoint as a P85DL owner, the fewer number of Ludicrous P85DL's that exist, the better.
