Watching the show I can't help but think that Tanz Industries is modeled on Tesla and Darius Tanz is modeled on Elon Musk.

I just watched this on Netflix and completely agree. Tanz must be based on Musk and why do they keep opening the falcon wing doors for no reason. They could have had Tanz put his brief case on the rear seat for a reason.

I am enjoying the series all the same!
