Instead of having to search through the message database for any possible answer about different models, options, specifications, changes over time. . . I would like to suggest that we set up a catalog to track all of this stuff. I think maybe the easiest way would be to set up a wiki, although that's not the only possible way to approach it.
I am currently maintaining a small wiki site using DocuWiki, and there's nothing too difficult about it.
I was for several years a member of PentaxForums.com, and I was impressed with the catalog they maintain of Pentax cameras, lenses, accessories, which is part of their site but distinct from the message forums. It's just incredibly useful, although I don't think it would make sense to structure a Tesla resource in quite the same way.
