My 22 standard range RWD model Y started to make strange clicking/rattling noise under heating with Auto or low fan speed(1-3), it occurs quite randomly. apparently it happens more often when the outside climate is under 10 degrees Celsius.
Went to service station, they suspect the heater blower bearing. But replace a new blower in Model Y takes quite some efforts, service team needs to tear down the entire cabin front console.
Did anyone come across similar issue? Can’t find any posts about this. Temporary solution is to adjust the fan speed to 4 or 5 manually to cover the rattling noise.
