Anyone else having this issue?
When I have the driver side vents set to one output on the screen and aim them to the top center, I still get a blast of air on my right knee coming from behind the steering wheel.
I don't remember having it before I dropped it off for a couple unrelated fixes a...
Looks like 2018.4.5 a1d9b92 was released. According to Teslafi a couple of cars have received it.
Anyone have this version? Please post pictures of release notes.
So, I installed 2017.50.13 550ee35 and don't see anything different. (Was the "screen cleaning mode" there before on the settings?) There were no release notes.
When I returned to my car (which was plugged it), I saw an interesting message:
"Unable to Charge. Supercharging Option Not...
Another useless update come on Elon where's all these great updates we're supposed to get like for navigation! And being able to turn on seat heaters and steering wheel remotely. If it works the way I think it's going to what good is it if the steering wheel heats up automatically once I start...
In this version:
- Canadians finally get ability to choose Canadian French language.
- You can now select units for pressure (in some countries) - Bar or PSI.
- In Netherlands - disabled passive entry by default "for your security".
- Now, when you start a drive, the steering wheel will...
I experienced the subject issue after parking in a spot that had a slight incline up. I parked over a low curb which had PLENTY of clearance under the front spoiler (which was verified after initially parking).
After an hour, when starting the vehicle to depart, I noticed a vehicle alert...
Not only the doors must be slammed to close them, but if the door did not close, you have to be in park to open them with the button and re-slam them.
The mechanical door opener works, but the back seats don't have them....this is extremely annoying.
The software should be updated to allow for...
Feature request: When pressing the Keyfob to close all doors, all open windows should also close.
Mobile App should be able to open and close any and all windows, including an open and close all feature. Of course the screen UI needs same features.
Anyone like this idea?
When I approach Angel, like a puppy who wants to go out, she comes to life, flashes her lights and pops out her mirrors. How sweet. She also does this when I pass by the door leading to the garage--I can see her lights from the garage. She does seem to get very anxious. Unfortunately, Angel is a...
In 2017, it seems like Tesla had a release version every two weeks. Although 2017.50.3 was released during Week 52, Tesla released no firmware with a 2017.52 version number. Given that, I kind of expected a 2018.2 version, but time is running out on that if week 2 runs from January 8, 2018...
I have a late-VIN X loaner with a curious problem. Anyone with this strange behavior? I've tried both reboot options from steering wheel with no change.
I'm using SW 2017.50.2
Initial symptom is it would not supercharge or charge at home. Then I walked away and noticed it started charging when...
Please stick with me if this is a bit rambling, but I'm trying to straighten this out in my head as best as I can whilst typing this.
A bit of background - I'm UK-based, so this all revolves around the type-2 CHAdeMO adaptor rather than the Tesla-connector type adaptor, and I have a ~September...
I am getting warnings several times a week, and I just got my car. I have been very please with performance otherwise. So far I have seen:
- auto park disabled
- suspension disabled
- emergency brake disabled
It started with auto park warning with exclamation symbol. Then it moved on to...
The wiper update said it failed, but when I check the software status, it shows the latest software and the information for the wiper update. Also, the automatic wiper option now appears in Controls.
Has anybody ever seen this? Update supposedly failed, but it seems to have actually worked...
My car's in for service, and I was asking for 2017.50.3 f3425a1, and I was told by the SC a new firmware is out this morning and they are giving me that one instead. I'll report back once I get my hands on the car. They are only going to stage it, so I won't get the version number a for a few...
I am a real fan of EV-FW.com
It's super useful to track when other people get new firmware on their cars and I can start getting itchy for mine to get it too.
We now have a new challenge. Model 3 seems to be on a very different firmware path to Model X and S.
I am not sure who the owner of...
Picked up my M3 last night from MDR, Dec 31st. Drove it to Temecula without any problems. I scheduled the software update at 3am and in the morning I received a notice that the software was updated. Unlike my Model S, there was no indication about what was updated, nor could I find the software...
I’m up a few times throughout the night(s) and was wondering if it would be beneficial to use the new preconditioning battery feature on firmware “.50” for an hour or so throught the night. It’s getting into the 10-20* range in the evenings here now so would it be beneficial to give some warmth...
i was just driving home and my monitor froze. The navigation is stuck, music died, garage door opener doesn't work and the App isn't even able to communicate.
My car is bricked.
Where the heck is the rest button on this?
It's a 2017 Model S, software updated let night.
My 2017 MS was in for service, and I had a P90D loaner. On the loaner I noticed the dash display showed cars in adjacent lanes and semi trucks (with a semi truck avatar). My car was on 2017.42.1 and the loaner was 2017.48, so at the time I assumed it was a new feature on the updated firmware in...
We took delivery Thursday the 28th in Fremont at the new delivery center. We both really like the car a lot. It is unexpectedly different than our Model S 75D (which we love). This is not necessarily a bad thing.
First thing is the delivery process. It was pretty streamlined. We were in...
Picked up X yesterday and it was immediately available in the app. This morning it said Model X is no longer available in your account. Should I contact Tesla or just wait a couple days? “Remote access” is on. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling app.
This did not happen with our S.
I’m currently out of town and when I checked on my car yesterday the range was blank as well as the odometer. I called Tesla today and they said the car was in a deep sleep but I sent someone to wake the car up and the issue continues. Anyone has any ideas?
Hello,
Bit of background here - I'm a networking geek and hence have an overly-elaborate home network setup because I like dogfooding things - i.e. trying them out on myself before I impose them on others :-)
I also live in the back of beyond and have a very tenuous internet connection via a...
I got an early Christmas gift this morning. Finally getting off version 2017.42! I'm now on 2017.50.2, which adds the following capabilities:
Easy Entry
Battery preheat capabilities
Santa mode Easter Egg (very cool!)
But no chill mode. What gives? Since I live in the frozen tundra of...
Just got a software update today. Noticed a new Christmas Easter egg, merry Christmas to you too Elon.
Just say ho ho ho as a voice command and let the Holiday festivities ensue
The car turns into Santa sleigh, the road turns into a snowy trail. The snow comes down and speeds up the faster...
As has become a habit now, I've took the opportunity to test the latest update 2017.50.1 on my Model S to see if there are some improvements in autopilot behaviour. Now, I've had the update for 4 days now and have driven a few hundred kilometers before this test. So any calibration should have...
just was an update to my Tesla app: battery preheat is now available provided your car has v.50 or better.
I’m still on v46, so I’ve gotta wait to test it.
Called Customer support to ask about the 50.1 firmware update as I’d had the failed update on ver 50 a few days ago.
Was told that sensors in my FWD need to be replaced and until they are, any software update will continue to fail.
Anyone else heard something like this? Would’ve been nice...
A few months ago didn’t we get a message from Elon saying that Autopilot is going to get some new features during the holiday season? I don’t recall 100% (also not talking about the FSD promise or any promise made pre-August) I just feel like I heard something about them giving us a fun upgrade...
Having had my Tesla for a month now I am getting slightly frustrated with the TACC feature (Although I also love it!).
In the UK its illegal to 'undertake' cars on a motorway (unlike when I drive in the US). This means that if I am driving down the inside lane of a 2 or 3 lane road and a car is...
So I had seen that some of the guys in the states had received an update but wasn’t sure if it got pulled from some of the comments. I just had a notification that I have an update but when checking the app it’s still stating .48 when .50 was the version mentioned in other threads. Feeling ill...
Software version 2017.50 2275226 was just detected on a Tesla Model X 75D with Autopilot 2.5 hardware. The highest previous version was 2017.48.6 32974c3. You were alerted per your settings on TeslaFi.com.
Just an email from Teslafi that 2017.50 is out on a Model X, anyone here got it? For some reason I have high expectations on this one being that its "50", but that's probably just wishful thinking because we would have heard or seen something if there were any major changes (yes I know the .XX...
i have a 2015 Model S 70 D. It was manufactured in 12/2015. I want to upgrade the battery to the 75 D by doing a firmware update but am unclear if my battery can update the firmware. Can someone help?
This morning, driving to work, I noticed that the map zoomed in after I left the freeway without me giving any input.
Driving home, it did the same. Zooming in when not on the freeway and zooming out when on the freeway without any route planned.
I looked closer at the map and it seem quite...
So it looks like we have a new release according to Teslafi.
Standard rules apply, please post any new release note when you get it and preferably also a “APx is now a genius” or “APx is now the worst thing ever!”
Thank you!
I recently purchased a new Model X P100D a few months back with VIN 5YJXCBE47HF039565 and it came with the standard charger. I wanted to upgrade to the 72amp charger and got one from the forum here from another member. I was told by Tesla that it can not be installed due to a firmware...
Some cars have a chime that welcomes the driver when they turn on the vehicle. Possibility anyone here can suggest to Tesla programmers if they can do this for the Tesla vehicle? I'd like to customize so when I press the brake to turn the car on, the speakers play a small audio file from...
So, yesterday I hit a deer...
My model S is a 2017, about 4 months old, with autopilot etc, also I have the latest update.
Where all my driver assisted features sleeping? -because, it did not make a warning sound, it didn't brake, it did nothing at all...
Off course I didn't ram straight into...
Testing AutoPilot in the latest software release 2017.46.8. As requested with my previous video, here's a short summary of points I noticed:
Seems that not a lot has changed since the 2017.42 update
Bridges and underpasses (if that is the correct word) are still a problem where the car veers...
Hi
I have ev-fw.com linked to my Tesla account using my access Token, it is absolutely my access token.
However it seems to keep sending me notifications that a new firmware is available on my car when there isn't one to upgrade to and nor have I installed one.
Anybody else have this issue...
