Inquiring minds want to know, have all US S/X/Roadster owners who reserved a Model 3 received their Model 3 configuration invites?
If not, how many are left?
US S/X/Roadster owners please vote using the buttons above. Since some owners who can configure have not received emails please do...
Been looking at Teslas for a while, and had thought one day I might look for a newer, used one. But the current "base" is so close to the capability of the bulk of the used ones out there (mostly P85D's - and yes, it is slower, but you can't really use that much power on the street, anyway)...
I got an email from tesla today, that my model 3 is ready to order (California - bay area)
1. IS there any due date before which i need to make this order or it expires ? or something like that ?
2.Anybody got any approx time window, how long it will be between the date i put my order and take...
What delivery dates are new NON-owner reservations seeing? Anytime within the last few months can count as new.
Interested to see if there are any dates reported later than early 2019.
Not that I am one. But I am a first-day online non-owner with an estimate of "Late 2018" for a SR. Do any owners have earlier estimates for a SR car? What's the earliest out there for now?
I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I got my loan approved. I applied on line on my Tesla account, and seventy-five minutes later received loan approval via email. That's one part of the operation that really is incredible fast.
Bought the car on line also. Will be taking 10 weeks to get...
Got an awesome surprise from Tesla. 1 day after I configured my M3, and placed my order, I received an email "great news on your Model 3, give me a call". I did, and was informed that I could pick up my M3 in a couple of days. I'm picking it up tomorrow. All I can say is I didn't see that...
As a pending M3 owner waiting for VIN, I have never had a chance to touch or sit in a 3 before plunking down my deposit. Today I figured I'd drive by Rocklin again to see if any new 3's came in, maybe see one up close. Walking into the showroom, I was greeted by the usual nice younger fellow who...
Hi All! Model S owner here. Model 3 reservation made 2/05/18. Wanted to see how many owners who reserved in 2018 have already been invited to configure or already have taken delivery of their car.
Thanks!
Does anyone know why Tesla doesn't refurb the CPO vehicles before posting them online? They know that they are going to sell them one way or another. Why not just get the refurb process out of the way and speed up delivery?
Hi all,
I just noticed that new Model X orders are estimated to have "June delivery". Model S orders are still late March. There have been reports of Model X delays and very few Model X's being delivered this year per threads lower down, does anyone know or speculate about what's going on?
Hi Guys,
I order MX on 01/30/2018 and wonder what type of accessories come with. Has anyone ordered MX during the month of Jan. 2018? My OA said there is none except for carpeted floor mat for January order. Can anyone confirm if this is true?
Not sure if anyone is interested but I recently installed this meter by my charger, to track my actual Kwh usage. It was fairly easy to do, and cost around $20 on amazon. (Don't pay attention to the 120V, I didn't directly wire it in my 220V line and just ran power from a 120v outlet thats why...
In another thread US Federal $7,500 Electric Vehicle Credit Expiry Date By Automaker I posted about the 6 possible major configurations of the Model 3 and which I thought would have access to the $7,500 tax credit. I'm posting here to see how the poll agrees or disagrees with my view and record...
I saw this in the window of a Model 3 that just arrived in MN. Does anyone know what "Factory Gated" means? It makes me think that it would be something that they wouldn't want leaving the factory.
Do you think Tesla should offer a Ludicrous Upgrade for an additional $5,000 on all the 31 CPO P85D's to get them sold?
This definitely would make them more attractive to buyers IMHO... especially the "unicorn" P85D's with the Plus Suspension. 8-)
If you agree Tweet or email Elon and/or Tesla...
I read somewhere that Tesla after the initial start of production phase actually made quite precise estimates of the ramp up of production of the S and X. Does anybody know og this is true? And should we therefore expect the new estimates to be quite accurate?
Just wanted to verify that there is one I can see/touch/etc in DC?
I plan to go next weekend, it's closer to me than NYC, but still a 2-3 hour drive each way...
thanks.
Hi,
I got a chance to drove AP2.0 model x, I noticed some of the difference compare to my AP1.0 model x, created a video about it, hope it helps for those who wonders what has improved along the way.
Has anyone heard anything about a Model 3 being available to look at in NJ? I'm an S owner with a resevervation made in August and really need to see one in person. Anyone hear anything?
My brother is buying a used Model S for himself after the further delays on the Model 3. He is willing to put his car on my Tesla account to bump my place in line (non-owner). Does anyone know if this is possible?
Just received my Tesla model 3 last week. I'm putting it out for sale. $85,000
Deep Blue metallic color with fully loaded options.
Let me know if someone is interested. I'm from California.
just placed an order for the 100D MX. Took my first test drive tonight in Newport Beach. Here on business from Alabama. Not an impulse buy- been researching these things like crazy. Will fill out the spreadsheet later. The store manager popped in while I was finishing up the order to check on my...
I have a Model S coming in March and I couldn't be more excited, but I can hold off on the order for the new 2019 Model S after the refresh. However, I will likely lose the free unlimited supercharging incentive I got when I ordered it...Is it worth it?
I ordered a 100D the end of January. I received the VIN on February 2nd. Today I was in the designer and for kicks built my identical car again. Much to my surprise the base price of the Model S 100D is $4300 less and the delivery fees dropped by $75. Will Tesla adjust the price since the price...
What do folks predict as the actual timeframe for availability of the base model 3 to non-owners not in California but in the US?
How did the delays play out for the Model S and X? How long was the delay from initial reservation until you could get one?
I am a non-tesla owner, non-employee, reserved online Apr 1, 2016. My delivery estimate used to say late 2018. Now I see that if I choose
1) First production (Long range + premium) = mid-2018
2) Standard battery = Early 2019
3) Dual motor (Long range or Standard) = mid-2018
What are you...
First truckload of 15 has arrived. No vehicle for display, they’re the first round of customer deliveries. Another shipment expected in the next week or two.
I’m in the final days before I’m supposed to get my car. Just now hearing from my finance company (who is out of state) that they need wording in the contract that says Tesla will handle the lien paper work and titling. Anyone whose gotten a cpo in Cali, does the final contacts have that in it?
I'm a MS owner but am asking for my mother, who has a reservation for a M3.
Her delivery estimate now says "late 2018" and the dual-motor version says "late 2018". Does that mean she might be able to use her reservation to get a dual-motor Model 3 in late 2018?
I know a lot of it is...
Hoping for some insight. I read that people are receiving telephone calls from a Las Vegas number regarding scheduling delivery but wondering how soon to get a phone call after a VIN is assigned.
Thanks
Don’t wait on Elon anymore. (3 months maybe ...6 Months definitely ) j/k Elon is my hero, not so much my wallets hero .
No games, No BS offers please. Straight up MSRP, and yes I know I may or may not be able to take the tax credit with IRS rules, but definitely the second owner can not...
I had hoped to take delivery of Model 3 in California and drive it home to New Jersey, but apparently if I take delivery in California I have to pay sales tax there in addition to paying again in New Jersey. Is this the way it would work? Obviously if true then Plan B is next.
Thanks.
So I had two reservations, one which I will take delivery for at the end of the month God willing, and the other I was going to wait for P version, in any case my second reservation like my first said it was ready to configure and I can configure now or hold, I did neither for the time being...
So when I first ordered, I wasn't in a huge rush since my lease didn't end until April of this year. So I ordered on 4/1 online. My original date was Feb-Apr and now has been pushed May-July. My question is this - should I order through my dad's Tesla account now (he's an owner of an X)? Or is...
Can't sign in...Says my account isn't available right now. Try again later.
Where it says reservation holders can check delivery date estimates "click here"
I click "here" and it says I don't have a Model X order. No joke!
I have a Model S order.
What's going on?
Anyone else having issues...
Went to Tesla website just now to check how to cancel a Model 3 reservation and was greeted with,
"Your account isn't available right now. Try again later.
Reservation holders can check delivery date estimates here."
Has this happened before?
Anyone else get a change in delivery estimate? Mine had been Dec to Feb 2018 until today when it changed to Mar to May 2018. I am a very early line waiter, wee hours of 3/31/2016 in California. HQ said that is very positive for me and that THEY have not been selling to anyone other than...
I see plenty of non-owners, including me, having their delivery dates moved an entire quarter or more depending on configuration. I haven't seen any posts from owners announcing their change in delivery dates. I became an owner of a private party S (bought from a forum member this weekend) so...
My “First Production” model delivery just slipped out 3 months. Was Feb-Apr. Now it is May-Jul. Dual Motor is Late 2018. Standard battery $35k model is Early 2019. (1st day res, not a Tesla owner, Miami FL). Similar stories on FaceBook Model 3 Owners Club. I fully expected this based on the...
Looks like dual motor is coming before RWD SR. Dual motor will be offered in both SR and LR.
I say this because my delivery estimator just had big changes.
I made my reservation as a non-owner, 3/31/16 online order from Chicago.
Earlier today, my estimates were:
First Production: Feb - April...
I am a non-owner who reserved at the Buena Park Service Center on March 31, 2016 at approximately 10:20 AM. New delivery date is March - May. It was Dec - February.
