Both Austria and Switzerland have digital vignettes. The Austria one has an added stupid rule attached if you buy it directly from them. Which is why we always buy from the German motor club ADAC.

They are quite common in Europe, mostly in the South. Usually they zip by about 1 mm from your mirrors (as long as you still have any 🙃) in queued up traffic in the cities - or even in rolling traffic. 🫨
