When I buy a car, I usually make a list of vehicles that fit my criteria. I then test drive them. Based on the test drives, cost, and other factors I'll choose one and move forward. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is the way. Could you imagine making automotive buying decisions based on political opinions? Tesla has what, 100K+ employees. They can't all agree with each other. Like the car, or don't like the car. The rest is just not relevant.

Good perspective. I’m generally a cash buyer. Only thing that might change that would be some crazy Tesla financing at say 1%. That being said, the real issue is I don’t value the Plaid at 15K over the LR, or the opportunity cost of spending that 15k on other wish list items.

After yesterday’s earnings call, I don’t see the long rumored Model S/X updates like the front bumper camera coming this year. I suspect the design team is busy with other things.

I am in total agreement, 300K with a family makes 15K very significant.

Not at all tempted TBH and sticking with the MSLR. I have a 3P now and I'm ready to move on up. The LR is a better car all around by many measures, but the new 3P does appear to be a substantial upgrade over the current model.

But the warranty states that even if refurbished, it will have at least the same or greater capacity as your existing. In my case, I got 100% new.

Good news is that my car has been flawless since the replacement. Other than having a loaner for a few days, there no evidence of the pack replacement. Team at my local SC did a great job and I got the car back faster than anticipated.
