Hmmm, does your app access other features of the car? Also, some Tesla apps have a setting that prevents them pinging the car while it's sleeping. Are you using the Tesla App itself and/or have you tried another access app like Teslascope, Tessie, TezLab, or Teslafi?

Yes, the current Tesla App will work for all versions of Model S. Your car will automatically adapt to the current app. I have a 2014 Model S with no autopilot, so "Summon" is not an option on my app.

No, but my steering wheel dashboard cluster is a little dimmer than I like when it's at 10%, so adjusted the settings so its a bit brighter at night.

Another bonus for MCU2, when you search for a location in "Navigate", it can actually show you the Google Map information about it. And if they have pictures, you can scroll through them. 😄👍🏾 and the browser actually works!
