Damn, that’s a bit much for my taste. I’m glad to see it though. For me, just some subtle cues to further the look of the Plaid would be sick. The stock diffuser area has a lot of potential. The current front of the new S already feels like it has a bit of a lip.

Agreed. Unfortunate that Tesla released the Refreshed S, and within a year there’s a re-re-refresh. I would’ve waited had I known. I wonder how many of the pre refresh LRs and Plaids are in inventory that ppl are refusing to take delivery of in hopes they get the refresh.

Interesting that the Plaid has the refresh tails and headlights. I was under the impression there was quite a bit of Plaids in inventory that could be matched up and it was going to be some time before the refresh hits the Plaid orders.

This is by far the best setup that I've seen on the refreshed Model S / Plaid. Love it, espeically at this angle. Nice job.

manufactured in US, yes...but shipped to other regions. I agree, poor planning on Tesla's part but don't be fooled. This was intentional. They needed to increase the sales for the S and X in Q3/Q4 of '21, so they pushed the refreshed versions out for NA.

Any more info on where these shots were taken? Was it in EU or in NA? Also, why would they take a picture of the side of the vehicle versus a direct shot of the tail lights. I swear, these guys love teasing us. Honestly, I don't mind the current headlights. They look great, and to me, function...

Are you sure that it was a production S that had the updated tails? From everything i've heard, those updated tails are for the EU market to accomodate the bigger charge ports. There's been no confimrations that the NA market is going to be getting them. Also, highly doubt there will be any...

Yea, Tesla won't be swapping them for free. In fact, even to aquire the part, you'll need a VIN that represents a production build with the new tailights.

A factor that I don't believe has been mentioned is the hit that the Plaid would take once the roadster V2 is released. Roadster is going to be faster, and many of the Plaid owners will easily switch to the Roadster, flooding the supply in the used market. From the Tesla side, I can def see them...
