Any Model S Refresh/Plaid owners with the 21” Arachnid wheels regret not going with the 19” Tempests?

I have the 19"s and I am good with them. Like folks said earlier: with the price difference, you are better off ordering with 19"s and then upgrading to 21"s if you feel the need. The extra efficiency and cheaper tire replacements are worth it with the 19's and if you really want, get the 20"s...

Has anyone fit OEM rear 19" / 21" wheels on the FRONT of their MS Refresh LR Plaid

Ahh ok. I totally get the appearance thing. The 21's do look sweet. As for even wear: I have found my tires are wearing evenly and I do check the tread every few months. For reference I drive 90% on the highway though, and more city driving may result in uneven wear.

To Complete Steering Wheels, and Lateral Gs!

I like my Yoke! To each their own, gimmick or not, it is fun, and adds to the driving experience. Seems like a fair comparison, and I 100% agree. If they were in the same price category? If the Lucid had access (soon it may!) to the Tesla charging network... I would have to think about the...

Anyone bought the track package for a daily driver?

The 19"s are not compatible. So if you upgrade to the Track-Pack your 19" rims/tires will no longer fit (according to the Tesla site): https://shop.tesla.com/product/model-s-plaid-track-package

Has anyone fit OEM rear 19" / 21" wheels on the FRONT of their MS Refresh LR Plaid

Just curious, what is the purpose of this? Is it an appearance thing? Handling? Why would we want the wider wheels on the front of the car?

    Plaid 19 vs 21

Totally agree. I believe (someone correct me if I am wrong) but the slightly smaller 19" tires gives you a nearly unnoticeable edge 0-60 compared to 21"s. The 21's give you a higher end speed as fewer rotations per distance traveled are needed. I have the 19"s and have had no issues. I put...

    Sleeping with the Enemy!!

Welcome to the Tesla club :) I was a long time ICE enthusiast as well! I have had a 69 convertible, 79 Bandit, 87 GTA and 93 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 (the 69 was a tribute, I named him "9 of 8"). Pontiac was my brand of choice back in the day. I can definitely appreciate your love for some good...

Twitter app coming to your car

lol not dragging you in! you corrected me before, and @DanCar we called it Twitter, you jumped in with the obligatory correction. I am sure my post will be taken as some kind-a personal attack.. rude or something... That is not my intent. I am just trying to spread some logic.

Twitter app coming to your car

so you like censorship, interesting. here is some ideas for you to mull over if you are inclined to do so: I like what @DanCar said, he just mutes who who he doesn't want to listen to. Bravo Dan, you won the internet, seriously. Rather than insisting that your version of hate speech is not...

Help me choose: M3P inventory vs. Highland?

We went with a Highland, if all goes well we take delivery this Friday! We traded in a 2021 MYLR (well, sold it to a dealer) after the test drive of the Highland. The ride is great, the improvements are HUGE and compared to a 2021, the Highland build quality looks a lot better. If I had a...

Model 3 Highland (US) Waiting room

Good morning Highland Waiting room! Had some updates, and I want to share and get opinions. For background: we ordered February 4th I think, had an EDD of March-April, was pushed to April-May, then jumped back to 19 March - 10 April about 2 weeks ago. Two days ago we got an update that our...

My Taycan vs. My Model S

Great review, I really appreciate the descriptive analysis. The Taycan looks sweet... the first non-Tesla EV I have really liked the look of! Good to know I wouldn't be let down.

Demon 170 taken down by Plaid....

Not quite sure your point here. In order to be a "skilled driver/operator", do you think we need to tune the ports? Do you want to do things like swap jets and balance your carb? Do you think it must be done with a stick shift? Prefer hand cranked starters? What about balancing the fuel...

Love my MSP, and I love seeing videos like this! Even with the MSP loses, they are still epic.

Model 3 Highland (US) Waiting room

as some of our EDDs close in... those that are financing, who are you going through? What kind of rates are you seeing? Looks like best rates are 4.5%-ish to 6.5%. Does that sound right?
