How much brake fluid do I need to bleed/flush?

In the service menu there's an option to flush the ABS pump. Doing that might take you over 1l. When I've changed mine, the colour difference between old and new fluid hasn't been enough to clearly see when new fluid is coming through, so I've ended up using at least 1.5l just to make sure.

Great story about the capture of a Russian T-72 B3M tank:

Highland suspension on 2019 Model 3

Some do if they intend to track their cars, that's all. The part numbers in the U.S. EPC are slightly different between Highland and late 2023 ones but personally I doubt there's much of an improvement worth spending the money on them. If you have 'old' FUCAs (2019-early 2023) and haven't had...

    Rear Control Arm Replacement

Not all arms need to be torqued with the car on the ground/springs compressed, but it's important to follow the service manual for the ones that do, otherwise the bush will be loaded up at rest which will just lead to it failing prematurely. As you can see from the service manual, it's a very...

Not sure that Kavkaz depot has "burnt down". It took a nice hit but by the look of it, some of it is still operational.

    Swappable front ball joints?

When this happens, can you feel any play with the arms still on the car or do you need to remove them to confirm it's the ball joints?

    Russia/Ukraine conflict

The bigger the purges, the more unhappy embezzlers there will be who want to get rid of Putin. It's all de-stabilizing, which can only be a good thing and it's naive to think the replacements are going to be any less corrupt. It's endemic in Russia.

Highland suspension on 2019 Model 3

There are certain nuts/bolts which are 'one use only' in the service manual. Often they are some sort of locking nut, stretch bolt or essential fastener which would lead to a potentially bad situation if they came off in service. They aren't expensive, so it makes sense to follow the service...

    Russia/Ukraine conflict

These over-the-horizon radar installations will be doing the work of the A-50 AWACS fleet which is probably now non-operational or at least severely stretched. Ukraine hit the one and only 29B6 Container radar Russia has back in April and now this DM radar looks a bit secondhand. I think this...

Can't see that happening as you need the software to be compatible. And you need to connect the damper actuators, which will no doubt be more than just a supply voltage. Performance rear springs have a different part number to RWD and dual motor, so seems rates are different.

    Hankook Tyres

That's interesting, especially as on the Hankook website the tread patterns look different. https://www.hankooktire.com/uk/en/tirelist/vehicle/electric-vehicle.html It's going to confuse a lot of people, that's for sure.

    Model 3 Highland Steering Issues

Yes, correct but not that specific tyre. And in the case of flat spots caused by the shipping process, it could be argued it's the shipping company's responsibility. To be fair to Tesla, if the car is good when it leaves the factory, a fault like this is going to be very difficult to detect when...
