FYI, charger 3A is not functioning. Looks to be something stuck in one of the PIN slots. I’ll report on the post charging survey when I leave.

There is a crazy amount of expansion going on in Nashville--60+ dispensersn are either permitted or under construction within Davidson County alone.

Hopefully all those dispensers are manufactured and shipped to TN already since they laid off ~14% of the Supercharger factory staff.

The permit confirms 12 supercharger dispensers to be installed just west of the existing chargers.

Edit: I misread the site plan. they're actually building them south of the existing chargers which makes more sense than building the aisle over.

Looks like they're working on conduit as of 4/26. The equipment cabinets are on site, but there are no dispensers there yet

Trenching and cabinet installs looked complete as of 5/8/24. I did not see any dispensers posts on site.

I'll take more photos next time I'm out there.

Ooops--I got this one confused with the expansion at Target in West Nashville. I haven't visited this site recently and don't know if the cabinets and trenching are complete.

(12) V4 dispensers are in the ground. 2 are installed at the side of the stall. The meter is missing, though.

Actually, I looked at my photos again and all of the dispensers are placed at the head of the parking stall.

No meter installed as of 5/23/24. It looks like the electrical inspection was completed and the site needs some remediation.

Indeed. I suppose that's why there are inspections.

Wire ampacity depends on a lot of things: gauge/AWG of course, but also temperature, run length, conduit size and filling factor, insulation type (and resulting thermals), blah blah blah, and sometime people come to different conclusions on what the "right" wire is. That shorthand above could just be pointing to a more complex problem, or even a dispute over how to read the code! Another possibility is that they ran out of the "right" wire" and thought they could sneak by with the "wrong" wire. Heck the wire they used could even be too BIG! Stuff happens, different inspectors interpret the code differently, et cetera.

The fence has been removed but no one is using the new stalls. They don’t seem to be accounted for in the app. Has anyone tried to plug in?
