Rear Camber arms option - Hardrace

White line. This is how I did it in photo below. And as I said, I got 0.4 degrees with 290 on low ride height, so you might want to start more like 285 if you are targeting more like 0.5-0.6 degrees. The reality here is that there is a table of lengths to camber, and if someone was willing we could just set our arms to that length, install them, and just re-do the toe. Tesla doesn't have adjustable camber from the factory as is, they rely on one length. Paying someone to fiddle with your hard to reach camber adjusters is kind of annoying if you can set it right before you even install it.

Thank you for your post. I'm planning to replace my stock rear camber arms. After reading your specs are you saying you got positive camber of 0.4 and not negative -0.4 at 290mm from bolt hole center to center? How have the camber arms been holding up for the past 2 years?

Thanks for sharing the experiences and for all the information. I just wanted to seek clarification about the bolt cutting. I read some people have cut the bolts, but others have not mentioned cutting them.

Is there something different between certain cars which may or may not necessitate cutting the bolts?

The need to cut bolts only occurs if you replace the TOE arms. Which many people do along with CAMBER arms, but not always. I did not change my toe arms. It all depends on your goals and just how much camber you want to take out. I specifically took out as much camber as I could without changing toe arms.

This is why not everyone discusses this.
 
I replaced the camber arms at a buddy who owns a workshop. It was a real challenge getting the X on the two-column lift which meant I had to crawl out of the back door :)

Anyhow; Managed to replace the camber arms with ease, but ended with a horrific toe-out situation when set to the proposed 290mm center-to-center distance. There was no wiggle-space left on the mounting-hole of the toe-arms.

Ended up matching the length of the stock arms and put everything back together. This week the toe-arms came in the mail and next week i'm going to go the dreaded bolt-cutting route combined with setting the lowering links I already have in place, set to the standard length. Just need to order some spare bolts (P/N: 2007061 M10X69.1).

As we'll do the alignment the next day, i'm curious what length in mm to set the lowering-links to. I'm not looking for a slammed look, just trying to keep my brand new half shafts (newest 12 link revision) lasting as long as possible,
