Fix Gemini curb rash in-situ

Likely typical curb rash around the raised outer rim. Is there a convenient way to grind/polish out the rash, then tape off the polished areas, then reseal - and do this while the tire is still on the wheel? I'm using the damaged wheel as a spare, so it does not have to be perfect.

Great video. I used some of his techniques, but since the damage was limited to the outer rim, using a sander and polish was all that was needed. It's not perfect, but sure good enough for me.
