I have one on my Model 3's screen for the same reason I have one on my phone. What problems could a screen protector possibly cause? Ask your mechanic friend to elaborate.

Okay, forgot about the sensors. My 2023 showed distance to obstacles like that at first, then there was an update and it went away. Oh, BTW, I also just noticed the status bar next to the speedo readout has gone away, too. You know, the one that showed regen braking.

What I want to know is how you still have "inches" of distance showing, and why you don't have that AI heat map BS on yours? I lost that distance measurement long ago, and my image looks like this (sorry for the moire): Oh, and the speed limit in your garage is 30? :rolleyes:

Yeah, weird that you can't tune a specific radio station by voice in the 3. Tons of cars do that.

Yeah, mine is a 2023, with the stalks, so I'm not a victim of the steering wheel buttons. In fact, that was one of the reasons I got a 2023!

I have the auto-cancel thing enabled, The car will allow me to change lanes, but then the signal won't auto-cancel and won't let me manually cancel. It just keeps on flashing away like some old man in Florida. The rest of the time it works just fine.

Slightly off-topic, I guess, but my 2023 Model 3 (with stalks) has recently began to not cancel. And it will not let me manually cancel by pulling on the stalk again, or pulling it in the other direction. Other times it works fine, both by auto-cancelling or manually cancelling. Weird.
