Great video. I used some of his techniques, but since the damage was limited to the outer rim, using a sander and polish was all that was needed. It's not perfect, but sure good enough for me. Thanks for the reference

Likely typical curb rash around the raised outer rim. Is there a convenient way to grind/polish out the rash, then tape off the polished areas, then reseal - and do this while the tire is still on the wheel? I'm using the damaged wheel as a spare, so it does not have to be perfect.

I ordered the "Dr Colorchip" in Red Multi-coat. My Son has used it with good results on his F-150 - medium grey. It takes a "learning curve" so I'm hoping we'll be able to successfully fill the scratch - might take a few tries. I'll post any results.
