I was at CES in Las Vegas this week. Qualcomm was showing inductive charging technology, one of which was a 20 kW model, potentially useful for a Tesla. http://www.qualcomm.com/solutions/wireless-charging/qualcomm-halo

I was there too, & scoured everything auto-related.

There was a EV related TechZone in North Hall (only a few booths), plus a Model S at the Panasonic booth. The Nvidia & Intel booths featured the BMW i3.
