Tried Amazon, but they were recycled / used batteries and all died very quickly. Looking at site reviews it's a common problem. Neither Ace Hardware or Staples stock them. Anyone had better luck in getting new ones? Thanks
I got the ones from Amazon and yes they are not OEM batteries... just like the review pictures, they were shipped in little zip lock bags. But they worked fine for me. I bought them in April 2019 and the keyfob still works now. This is the one I got... review score is low because of non-OEM packaging.
I had a boss in the early 1980's who was one of those "the boss knows more than anyone else" guys. He purchased about 20 of the Tandy 2000 computers because "they are much better than the IBM ones." Not long after we all had a new boss and IBM computers
I went to the SC without an appointment and a SA replaced the batteries. Fob still didn't work and I had to schedule for a ranger to come out and resync them.

Lithium primary cells, such as the CR2354, have a shelf life of 10 to 12 years. Do not confuse with lithium-ion chemistry, which is a secondary cell and has a much shorter shelf life.
