When will the Model S get LED headlights?

And I bet the Corolla also has functioning cup holders

And storage in the doors. And better visors.

LED lights are rather nice - have them on our VW e-Golf - but, Xenon's alright. The LED light prototype that we saw was rather ugly though; hope they can refine it enough for such a large light assembly as in the Model S.

LEDs use a tiny bit less power (they might give you a half-mile of range), but the ones I've used in Audis, BMWs, and Leafs don't provide better illumination than xenon HIDs. Worse, LEDs' higher color temperature is more prone to scatter in fog and rain. I wouldn't pay a dime extra for LEDs.
