You should do anyway to get more pressure on Tesla to fix it.Jan 2022 MS long range. Same problem as reported by others. Only started with 2022.24.6. Sad to hear updating to xx.8 doesn't fix. Was just about to make a service appointment before I read this.
It’s already downloaded, just keeps pestering me to install it (2022.24.8). No, Tesla. I will not.Do not do it!! I would even unconfigure your wifi so it does not download and install by mistake. Hopefully Tesla will address this soon.
No clue my friend. So should we be worried about safety from this noise? In case battery inside is burning hot? I actually have to take a road trip with my MX this week and now I am considering renting..
I’ve installed everything soon as available since 2013, and only regretted a few times. For obvious and pervasive issues like this, we will probably see a fix within weeks if not sooner.Just posting to keep track of it. July 2022 Build MSP. First tesla and had less than a month. Are these types of things common and should not install new updates as they come out?
I hope not! I drove 400+ miles on Friday and return trip planned for tomorrow. So far no performance impacts noted and no safety issues encountered. Fingers crossed. So should we be worried about safety from this noise? In case battery inside is burning hot? Have you charged the car in this duration? I assume you have given 400+ miles. Charging while buzzing worries me..I hope not! I drove 400+ miles on Friday and return trip planned for tomorrow. So far no performance impacts noted and no safety issues encountered. Fingers crossed.
I did charge the car once.Have you charged the car in this duration? I assume you have given 400+ miles. Charging while buzzing worries me..
Yes, have used 3 different superchargers on the trip. Did not notice buzzing while charging but didn’t get out to see if I could hear it though.Have you charged the car in this duration? I assume you have given 400+ miles. Charging while buzzing worries me..
I think they want to remove your radar and sell it for cash, since you are now on the vision only updateOMG. I also put in a service request for creaking sounds from the rear seats and they also added Replace front radar sensor due to water intrusion?. What’s going on?
With Tesla that is probable.Mine is most definitely not doing it now. I am afraid that the fix for yours will cause mine to start.
I am more optimistic, these cars have a lot paramters for current, voltage to drive various systems. I hope giving the fact it 100% started with that specific version of software, that it is just missed parameter that caused some cricuit board to start buzzing at the different frequency. If it’s not all refreshed cars then maybe it is a hardware problem that will take months or more to figure out …
Per Tesla, they said only refresh S/X.If it’s not all refreshed cars then maybe it is a hardware problem that will take months or more to figure out …
