Waiting Room - Model Y LR AWD 19” W/ FSD

Thought I’d start a waiting room for this common configuration. Anyone with this configuration hear anything from Tesla? I see one or two entries in the spreadsheet that say they have.

MSM, ordered on day 1. Located in SF Bay Area. Still at “Prepare for Delivery”, no communications.

Hi neighbor. Same exact config with Black Interior, SF Bay Area, same exact status.

I ordered my MY Performance with PUP, White on Black in Feb 2020. I check the website often and saw my account page ask for more details, like license info, insurance, payment type (finance vs cash). So I updated all of that. Then a couple days later I got an email from Tesla basically saying "Get Ready for Your Model Y Delivery" and telling me to fill in all my info (which I had already done). So thats where I am now... guessing maybe April delivery???

I'm black/black LR AWD 19" w/FSD and ordered right when preorders opened last year. Havent heard a thing. My friend is White/black LR AWD 20" no FSD and ordered 2/5/2020 and already got his delivery date... We are both in Los Angeles. I first thought Tesla is just producing the highest revenue cars thats why it is all 20" wheels but without FSD his car is 54k mine is 57k so it really doesnt make any sense. He also isnt a previous tesla owner, I've had an X for 3 years. They really should have been more transparent to early reservation holders about what configurations would be out first and give us the option to change.

Everything I’ve seen suggests it has to do with the wheels. The Performance models have been getting the available 19” wheels. From my understanding, the same computer goes into non-FSD and FSD cars (because you can upgrade later via software).

but I agree—I’m a day 1 reservation too (and near the Fremont factory), so I would have expected to be prioritized.

20 inch wheels seem to be the most important element of early deliveries, even more so than black interior.

Who knows how long before those with 19" wheels start receiving orders. Can wait until someone posts here their VIN.

I know this is for AWD, but figured me having 19's may be a decent stat line to watch....

MSM P, Black Interior, 19" wheels, No FSD.
  • E-mail Confirming March Delivery Date 2/26
  • "Funding Secured" (BofA 2.19%) 3/1
  • Information Filled Out 3/1
  • Delivery Support Specialist Call and Follow up E-mail 3/3

No VIN yet.... sitting on insurance upload screen. Need VIN to upload insurance docs (Texas).

I ordered 3/15/2019
My configuration: LR AWD Blue exterior, Black interior, 18’’ Aero Wheels, FSD
I got the "prepare for delivery" change like it sounds everyone has. No word from Tesla at all. No prompt to upload any docs.

Until I see VINs for orders with 19" wheels and Non-P MYs, I'll keep my expectations low. :)
