Can't you just make playlists for the internet radio instead of using your own data?
So based on the previous discussions I assume that the model s supports FLAC. Who out there has downloaded music using FLAC and put it on a flashdrive and found it worked.
No. No playlists available for the slacker radio. The car is not fully compatible with Slacker premium.
So if I wanted to download 75 albums to a flashdrive the Model S would not be able to handle that amount of music?
It will via Bluetooth but not via USB yet.So am I to understand that the stereo will not recognize an iPod or iPhone plugged in via USB? In my current car I have a dedicated iPod with all of my music permanently plugged in to my stereo.
I guess that will have o do, but I don't like draining my phone battery just to play music in the car.It will via Bluetooth but not via USB yet.

Can anyone tell me if the flashdrive uses electricity when the car is parked. I went out to the garage and noticed that it is flashing even though the car is locked and off.
I am fine with Bluetooth for my music collection, but when will you be able to scroll through those playlists on the ms touchscreen. Right now you have to look at the phone to change playlists. The dealer told me it should be coming in an update eventually. But he also seemed to think that eventually it would support transfer of songs from iPhone. After all, of course this is a widely used format and people aren't going to want to convert music to flash drives to listen in their $90k car.
