Upgrade to 2020.24.6 and 2020.28.1 borked mobile. Why?

Hi,

Haven't ever seen this problem before with my 2020
M3P - after I installed the 2020.24.6 upgrade, I lost connection to 4G data, with over 140 miles driven.

I reported it to service, who connected via my WiFi connection after a day and did something that fixed it.

I upgraded to 2020.28.1 today and had the same problem again. Reset of infotainment via the steering wheel button doesn't do anything.

I guess I'll have to report it again tomorrow, but has anyone else experiencing this and is there a workaround?

Did you try the full reset?

Hard Reboot: Hold down both steering wheel buttons and press on the brake until the screen goes black.Continue holding until the Tesla logo appears. Then let go.

Honestly, their software is utter crap.
Every time a new update comes along I wonder what new wonders we’re getting and what basic stuff it’s going to break and agonise about whether it’s worth risking it.
It shouldn’t be this way.
I mean, a software update that breaks charging? In an electric car? Seriously?

I did reboot it and the service is back. Not sure why - after the last update, it didn't have any effect. Not sure if they did something remotely, but it's working for now.
