That one now also needs to go in the "Restricted Sites" thread as there is a parking charge! From Tesla Owners UK a couple of hours ago (not sure when the original post by Bromley was though)
Bromley 'Press Release"
Will get it added there. Also, any idea how to get it updated with this information on supercharge.info map - I note there forum link directs to here, so will they pick it up from the Restricted Sites thread? That one now also needs to go in the "Restricted Sites" thread as there is a parking charge!
Thanks. There are plenty of other chargers now at Gretna Services, but I was fearful that the Tesla ones would be open to non-Tesla vehicles. To have a dozen stalls there is going to feel like Christmas has come. HopefullyYes they are - the single CCS cable is the giveaway.
I wonder if the 4 old V2 stalls will eventually be replaced with V3 ones: four charger cabinets is enough to support 16 V3 stalls.Thanks. Might be useful to retain those V2s in case you want to nip off to get married while charging and not incur idle feesI wonder if the 4 old V2 stalls will eventually be replaced with V3 ones: four charger cabinets is enough to support 16 V3 stalls.
or if you have an S without CCS conversionMight be useful to retain those V2s in case you want to nip off to get married while charging and not incur idle fees
At the moment we don't add pay to parking restrictions to supercharge, info map. This may change in the future but there are probably 1000+ like this in the world and keeping on top of them can be a nightmare and a simple pay to park flag might just be too simplest for loads of cases (pay but x time free if registering, etc) as seen in that restricted sites threads. Will get it added there. anyone able to confirm or deny?
Because crime pays better and the police never catch them?Absolute swines. Why can't they get a real job
Sadly too true. Don't have to pay tax on dirty money.Because crime pays better and the police never catch them?
I could be wrong but I saw somewhere that the v4 chargers don’t contain as much copper and therefore not attractive enough to be stolen.Sadly too true. Don't have to pay tax on dirty money.
I reckon they should put a "trickle" through the shielding, give them a nasty shock the minute their snippers pierce the rubber. I know the science doesn't work, but there is going to need to be a solution somewhere along the line.
