Trade In - Wait Until VIN?

A few days ago, I completed the estimated trade in values and they dropped from August (no surprise). While checking CarMax, Carvana, Shift, etc. Tesla was still the highest offered.

My EDD is September 22 - October 5 and of course I want to lock in the best trade in offer. I’ve read to wait until VIN assignment to submit trade in details.

Suggestions? Do it now or wait?

Is this your first 14 day EDD window?

I accepted a trade in offer right before my 14 day EDD window began, only to have it pushed out and extended to a 4 week EDD now.
I’ll probably have to redo the trade in process come Sept 30th.
