It's good. It's the natural progression. It's the only way EVs will grow. Many gigafactories must be built. I think this is just the beginning. We are about to see a massive growth spurt in gigafactories. A bubble may form in a few years. This is the new industrial revolution.
Tesla is the leader.

The 23b is to enable production of 1M cars and 50GWah annually, so GF1 has a ways to go.

Otoh, Tesla has nearly half that production capacity now and on its way to match 1M in a couple years, a reasonable time for something this big to ramp up.
So then GF1 is half the 23B, so 11.5B$. Plus it is expanding. Plus GF3. So book value increasing. Battery production will be huge; will be exploding in growth in the coming years. This will buoy Tesla's GF value.

Yep, book value is definitely increasing. Conservatively 12b for US factories and 9b for fsd division, plus more for solar, charging network, gf3 etc are multiples of debt.

Not even including growth, brand, technology lead, or installed base which comprise the bulk of it's value.
