They don't have to corrode to get stuck. Usually similar metals will seize which is what you often see from these types of valve stem caps.

These are not made from a ferrous material so they won't corrode. Also they will not gall because they are not made of similar materials. I have had them on my car for 3 years and they come off just as easily as they did when I first put them on but thank you both for your concern.
