That's just 4 hours from now. Its the 7th in Shanghai and 10:22 am.

So if its at 230 as the invitation says it will be at 1030 pm west coast.
If it runs late as vincent says (3:30) then 11:30 pm west coast.

Better give the Shortsville Times Editor an alert so he can close out his short position.

Musk has numerous times been over optimistic about time tables. You have been here long enough to know that. I could use harsher words, but I think that it is obvious to anyone, that Musk timetables are always overly optimistic.

Don’t believe me, use your own brains. Production starts in six months in a factory that is not even built yet?

While there are no guarantees, I feel like high speed miracles are quite possible in China with the government support, which Tesla secured; for ex. see how a train station was built in 9 hours Chinese workers build railway station in just nine hours
Sprung structure took 3 weeks to build in Freemont. That is in case they want to start production while a more permanent building is still being constructed, which I'm thinking could also be managed within the timeframe - given the train station.
Keep in mind - (sprung structure) GA4 line has a productivity that exceeds that for lines inside the factory building while using more people in place of robots.
Then there's a question of getting electricity and robots there...it seems if this is planned properly ahead of time, it could be done. But otherwise, some delays are possible and H2 2019 is still a good timeframe to start the production.

I don’t think these kind of things will be live broadcasted, there could be live blog from attendees sure.
But there will be plenty of news clips tomorrow since we can expect some high profile city officials attending, maybe the mayor or even Party Secretary(that’s higher rank than Mayor if you’re wondering).

So a US program called "60 minutes" did a segment on a breakthrough project to solve climate change that has been in the works quietly for 25 years or so involving a breakthrough method of extracting sugars from plant cellulose much more effectively. Potential replacement for coal and fossil fuels as it develops. Bunch of MIT PhDs on the board.

Easy transition for cleaner ICE vehicles but an unknown scale-up timeline. Probably get some wall street discussion as to impact on stocks related to climate change solutions.

There have been so many of them over the years, everyone has lost the count.

Yeah I was responding to this
Umm because CR is motivated by money or something, because I've hardly found a single accurate review for quality on there. I take their reviews with a grain of salt as I've found several instances where they plain suck or lie. I'm a millennial, which means I can use google and do better internet research than boomers. CR is full of fraud.
