The Singapore store was also to have serviced Thailand and Malaysia, so I guess those markets are gone for awhile now too. I think it makes more sense really to focus on Japan now though -- Tesla should sell as many Roadsters here as possible and ramp up for selling the Model S here in volume. Wasting time, money, and resources on token markets probably isn't the best play at the moment and clearly Tesla sees that. Maybe the tax break not coming through will turn out to be a good thing by helping them keep focus.

The Tesla Roadster roared into Singapore this week, carrying with it all of the style and swagger you'd expect from a supercar worth over S$500,000 (including COE).

Singapore firm FSG - Fast, Sexy & Green - is selling the car here as well as being committed to other environmental projects.
