Tesla s U-shaped screen

Hi everyone, I'm new to Teslas. Just bought Model S 2013. There's a weird thing on the screen. Could you please see a picture? Is it a protective film or what is it? I can't find the way to take it off. Thank you!

I think it’s a bad screen, known issue when they get old.

You might consider getting the new MCU which is reasonably priced and you’ll get two new screens with it.

That's fluid leaking, and it will eventually leak out onto console and floor. You need to replace the screen or get the upgrade which included new screens

Instrument cluster is prone to this, too. As said above, get the MCU2 upgrade, and which comes with both new screens.
