Tesla Batteries May Back Up Massachusetts Offshore Wind Farm

Deepwater Wind LLC is proposing to pair Tesla Inc. batteries with massive offshore wind turbines as part of a bid to supply the state of Massachusetts with clean energy generated at sea.

Interesting to see companies work on night time storage but when EV take off, as they charge at night, this might be less of an issue.

This is a case of time-shifting to be able to sell at expensive times of the day in order to make the costs work. It's offshore wind so much higher cost than onshore (although offshore has been falling in price quite quickly).
