I am buying an EV, that I plan at a later date to transfer to another person who is not in my household.
I'm wondering how co-ownership would affect the EV tax credit, and whether I could remove myself from the title at a later date without triggering another round of excise (~ property) tax. Also in the mix would be how co-ownership would affect car insurance.
