Switching Tesla Models during a current Lease

I’m currently in the middle of my 2023 Tesla 3 lease, but due to a growing family, a Y would now be more practical. I have low mileage of 9k, and was wondering if anyone knows if Tesla allows you to swap cars not at the end of a lease term. If so, are there any stipulations? Thanks!

A lease is not like a car rental. Unfortunately, you will have to call Tesla Finance or look at your contract for your early termination options (it’s not gonna be cheap or pretty). Even as Tesla leases cannot be sold to other dealers or bought out by you, your only other feasible option is to transfer the lease to someone else.

Lease is a financial contract on a specific vehicle.
No automaker allows lease car swapping.

If so, are there any stipulations?

Read your lead contract and see if there is an early termination clause, and if so, what are the penalties. Do expect to find something outrageou.
