More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

This was a fairly grueling day despite being only about 600 miles. I was on the road from 4am-8pm and didn't take any naps or egregious breaks (maybe a 40 minute non-supercharging break, but that was it). I guess it felt so tough because I had zero long stretches of interstate, but also because even on a Saturday the traffic around NYC was pretty maddening. I don't know how you habitual daytime drivers do it sometimes. I used to think I was missing out by doing so much of my driving after dark (maybe 50%), but I definitely would rather have open roads in darkness than see all the traffic that I'm stuck in :)
I find that there is something distinctly exhausting about hitting many superchargers in a relatively small area. I think it may have to do with having to spend so much time navigating in and around large cities combined with the misplaced idea that it'll be a quick task because, hey, they are all close together.

Once you check-in to your first supercharger in a country, the country will show on your supercharging.life map. "Supercharger Map" in the navigation pane defaults to your region, but there is a "load all" option which will load all regions/countries. If you have not been to a country, then your "My Map" would be identical to the "Supercharger Map" for that country. It includes permit and construction, but there are not many of those outside the US.

Tableau has more robust mapping capabilities.
Speaking of Tableau, I really need to push an update. I'll do that tonight.

I live in Phoenix, let me know if I can do anything to help.

The battery in my 2014 Model S failed last January, 2 months before the end of warranty. It took 5 weeks to get a replacement. The replacement failed the day after I got it back. Two more weeks to get a second replacement. This replacement has been working fine for 6 months and 10,000 miles,. I did buy Jason's battery service plan when the Tesla warranty expired.

Have you considered having your car shipped to your local service center? If they had the job, you would get a Tesla loaner from them, the car would be at a service center you know and it avoids having to go back to retrieve it. It would be close to home in case of an infant mortality situation like I had. Fortunately mine failed in my.driveway.
@AzEd, thank you for this reply and for the insights. I thought about trying to get the car to the east coast for repair, but that just seemed logistically difficult with it in a non-operational state. I am considering having it shipped east once repaired. I'll cross that bridge later. Right now my focus is on trying to get us and all of our stuff home.

I don't currently need anything, but I appreciate the offer to help and will let you know if anything emerges. Since I won't be here when it is repaired, I'm wondering if they'd let you do a test drive for me to confirm everything is okay.?

Honestly, I'm quite discombobulated by all of this. To help, I'm trying to focus on one step at a time. Tomorrow's task is to confirm with Enterprise that it is okay to drive across the country and confirm I can "upgrade" from the Tesla rate vehicle to something large enough to hold Bernadette, me, and all of our stuff.

So sorry for your troubles @theflyer. Stuff like that can really screw up a nice RT.
Hoping your troubles are few & patience that it should all work out in the end.
Plus, you get a ‘new’ battery.
wishing you well & good luck. 🤞🏼

I'm guessing you were there earlier in the day but I was at Burlington from about 2-3:30pm (range charge while I planned the next couple days of my trip at the nearby coffee shop).
I figured that you were going to hit Burlington today, but that given where you ended yesterday, it would be later in the day. We probably passed each other on I-95 going in opposite directions. I sent you a virtual wave as I drove through. 🙂

I would just verify that the rental is unlimited miles throughout the US (in Arizona they will likely have something specific about not taking it to Mexico). If you are dropping it off on the east coast, they will know you are putting a lot of miles on it anyway.

I always preferred traveling in my own car even when it didn't make sense economically, but the guys I know through gambling have all sorts of crazy rental car stories. My favorite one was a guy who put like 8,000 miles on a car in two weeks(!) and then got a formal letter in the mail letting him know that he was no longer welcome to rent a car from them in the future. We all got a real kick out of that since we are used to hearing "no more blackjack for you" or whatever in the casinos, but he was the only one I know that ever got backed off from a rental company. Of course, nothing he did was wrong. It was an unlimited mileage rental. But they determined he was an unprofitable customer so that was that. The best part was that they apparently didn't have the authority to back him off from the company nationwide so he is only banned from the Hertz (or whatever company it was) at the Kansas City airport :)

Are you heading all the way to New Minas? I was going to be there tomorrow (Monday) but I'm trying to hike Katahdin instead (weather forecast had looked real bad, but now it looks like there's a window of acceptable weather). If the hike goes well and I'm not too terribly exhausted, I will try to stay in Saint John, NB Monday night and then take the ferry to Digby and then drive to New Minas on Tuesday. If the ferry timing doesn't work out, I'll just drive around which takes about the same amount of time and is hypothetically cheaper (but less fun!).

Haven’t firmed up the day but I think I hit Halifax in the morning, double back and hit minas basin ( or do that in reverse) then head up to north Sydney. I have a reservation for Port aux Basque Tuesday AM. Gotta make sure my FLO account is working. Dang, looks like it’s a miss! I think.

Yeah, we probably would have crossed paths if I didn't change plans back to doing the hike.

I took the Port-aux-Basques ferry back in June 2009. On the way out it was an overnight ferry and they were sold out of cabins. I had the terrible idea that drinking might help me sleep in the awkward chairs on the boat. I was younger and dumber, and a bit more of a drinker back then :)

I might have gotten a couple hours sleep, but then I was groggy and facing a 10 hour drive across the island. Boy, that was a long day! I think it was the first time I ever tried an energy drink and the Red Bull really did help me get through. I even diverted to Twillingate to go on an iceberg viewing boat. I just could not believe that there were icebergs in June but it turned out that was basically high season for them in that area.

Newfoundland will be quite the adventure in an EV. The Flo chargers work well in my experience, so hopefully there are a lot of them. I believe they are now compatible with Chargepoint so you might try using a Chargepoint fob if you have one.

@PLUS EV, I "hiked" Mt Katadhin back when I was just out of College and my best friend and I conquered it but it was much more of a "climb" than we were expecting (complete with iron-rung ladders to climb up certain sections). I'm glad I did that when I was younger as I'd be in no shape for trying it now. Kudos to your efforts. Walk out some of the "Knife Edge" if you make it to the top. I can't remember where my photos are from our summit but it was quite the experience for us at the time.

"Short" trip last week (5,730 miles in 9.25 days) but managed to finally visit the northernmost point of the lower 48 (at Sunrise no less) and added a few (53) new chargers along the way. Also crossed off 4 new state borders (93 of 109 now) and added the triple-point of MT/WY/SD (or as close as the road got to it) en route to the MT-SD border crossing. Stumbled upon the Geopgraphic Center of the lower 48, as well as the Longitudinal Center of Canada, and a plaque at the 45th parallel which isn't really the halfway point between the North and South poles but I wasn't planning on hitting any of those locations so it was a nice surprise to get pics of each one.

Cleared Nebraska (2 locations), South Dakota (1 location), and North Dakota (all 5 location), and was just 1 away from clearing Winnipeg but ran out of time. Discovered that my 170k Jan 2016 S90D is now a 60D as it has 64.5 kWh "max" usable (only went ~1/2 mile beyond 0 at 64.2 kWh).

If I can navigate the permitting process (which is rather Byzantine for non-Mainers), I will be hiking the Abol Trail. And yes, there is a 1.5 mile section of steep bouldering which I'm a little concerned about. Not trying Knife Edge as I believe it is harder or at least more dangerous. And with the shorter days, I'll just be trying to get up and get down before it gets dark, so no "exploring." Cool that you got up there when you were younger. And yeah, I sometimes wish I would have started this hobby when I was in my teens and weighed 100 lbs less than I do now, but on the other hand, I kind of enjoy the challenge. For the tougher high points, I'm always the biggest/heaviest guy at the summit :)

Well good luck on Katadin. That’s one state I have not bagged the high point in, I think I’m at 17 right now. But the pictures of the hike look spectacular!

- Rocky Hill, CT (#106)

Day trip to Manhattan, to deliver a chair to my brother. The chair came from our parents' house (after a couple years in my attic), and Mom came along for the ride. So I couldn't wander off the straight path but I did pick up Rocky Hill which opened recently - and then hit it again on the way back. We also stopped for dinner at Rein's in Vernon CT. Heavy rain and lightning along the Pike east of Charlton coming home. A good day's excursion.

I didn't think about the non-operational aspect. I did try to ship a non-operational car that I bought from New York to Phoenix a few years ago. None of the major shippers would do it. I got some quotes for around $2,000 from U-Ship but they were all unknown carriers. I ended up doing it myself with my car trailer.

I would be happy to do a test drive for you or anything else that would help.

I stayed at the Blue Swallow Motel in Tucumcari, NM last night. It's a motor court style motel built in 1939 and mostly the same as when built. The enthusiastic owner couple live on site. As a bonus, the vintage gas station they have next door has 2 Tesla connectors that provided my car with 64 amps, way more than any other one I've used. I took a lot of pictures but will only post a few. There are a lot of other pictures on the internet.

Very nice trip! I'm curious if you consider Minnesota to be South Winnipeg, though, given you said you were one Supercharger away from clearing it.
