This is unexpected - but welcome. For those of us traveling north from the south into the Panhandle, this gives us some flexibility.

I wonder if there is more on the horizon for Toot'n Totum. They host the newer chargers in Amarillo and have plans for the much anticipated Lubbock site. Lamesa, Dumas, and Dalhart could be useful for Tesla travelers. Maybe even Pampa or Liberal, KS? Anyway, it's always great to see another charger in those large blank spaces on the map.

This would be nice to have for a visit to Caprock canyons state park. Have a supercharger 50-60 miles East (Childress SuC) and west (Plainview) from it.

Co-locate with Allsups and DQ since you know just about every county seat has either one.

Drove by here today. Chargers are in place in front of the Toot-N-Totum. Still fenced off, with a crew working on them. Shouldn't be much longer!

Did you happen to get any pictures? Don't think anyone here knew it was under construction. There have been no updates about it here and Supercharge.info does not show it under construction yet either. If it is, we need to get the status updated.

Sorry, no pictures. I was driving from Lubbock to Amarillo and just happened to see them as I drove by. I had seen this thread back in February and was totally surprised today when I looked over and saw them.

I see it's been updated to "under construction". I assume you have update ability on supercharge.info @homero89 ?

Nope, wasn't me.

That question was targeted at homero89 . He's very active in the Texas Supercharger threads. Updates from him on TMC seem to be reflected pretty quick on supercharger.info and he liked your post.

Correct. I'm going off the honor system on this one. I've seen some other OTW Texas sites randomly appear (Alice, Centerville, New Boston, Abbott, etc...) so I think this one almost slip through the cracks.

Officially, we should be waiting for pics though.

Drove up from Lubbock today to check out the progress at Plainview and take some pictures. Work is well along with eight chargers in. The workers said they will be finished tomorrow but the missing transformer probably won’t be in until next week. They didn’t know when start up would be.
