Since the grid power SC stall input is shown rated for 350kW, what is the theoretical maximum output (despite the current 250kW limit)? Here are the name plates for the transformer (green), FLO charger (blue), and Tesla super chargers (red)
The ratings on the Supercharger pedestal doesn't make sense, that is 350 Amps at 500 Volts which should be 175 kW. I'm not sure how they come up with that for North American V3 Supercharger pedestals since they can deliver 250 kW.Since the grid power SC stall input is shown rated for 350kW, what is the theoretical maximum output (despite the current 250kW limit)?
They use TeslaBots and drones.I noticed that the excavator that was at the Edson site when we went by on Thursday last week was moved back to Jasper some time Saturday, looks like the were filling in around where the supercharger cabinets go. I wonder if they use the excavator to lift the cabinets into place or do they bring in a crane truck?
I personally don’t have any plans to go to Jasper anytime soon so I can’t give any updates. Based on what I saw at the start of September the Jasper site should have all equipment in place by now and should just be waiting for commissioning and possibly paving.Any updates on this installation? Any word on when activation will occur? Will it be concurrent with Edson SC location?
I checked the in car nav the other day, still no sign of Jasper or Edson super chargers on it. My bet is once the others along hwy 16 are done the tech is going to be commissioning them one after another.Been almost 2 weeks since the last post, is it commissioned?
Sorry can’t help you as I have a LR MY, and I have only done the drive once from Jasper to Banff and didn’t pay attention to consumption. Maybe try asking on the Canadian trip planning thread as there are probably more people following that thread then this one. There is a Charger at Saskatchewan crossing (check plug share for more info) if you need a top up.Excited for this
Has anyone done the trip up here from Banff/Lake Louise with a SR+? ABRP estimates you'll arrive with 15% if you charge to 100% at banff/canmore...
