Looking for a place in the Edmonton area that can replace a windshield, or is the Tesla service centres still the only place to get a Model Y windshield replaced? Just got a quote to replace it and it is almost 2000$, up from 1500$ last time in 2021.

Both of the Edmonton superchargers are showing 0.47$/kWh on the App.

Went through Golden tonight, here are some pictures of the current status of this station. Transformer is in place, all pedestals appear to be in place, the meter is still empty. Two of the stalls are flagged as designed disabled parking. I have not seen that before at a super charger location.

Any info on its location?

I wonder if they will install Magic Docks at locations that get built using NRC funding instead of using FLO chargers?

I swung by the area on Nov 26th, no sign of a transformer, though it does look like there might be a meter on the supercharger cabinet.

I received mine, the tracking number showed that the shipping label was created Sept 22nd and it arrived in Edmonton on September 29th. My guess is that they ran out of stock at the warehouse and are waiting for more.

Votes placed successfully, and I even suggested some locations along the ALCAN highway. Noticed that they where voting on locations on either side of Clearwater where they already had a permit for a site, at least according to Supercharger.io, wonder if that means that the site fell through.

Well the race is on, will the adapter arrive before we leave town or after? Tracking showed that the package just arrived at the Canadian boarder south of Winnipeg. It looks like the package was waiting for a regularly scheduled truck to Calgary.

I ordered Sept 21st and got the shipping notification late Sept 22, hopefully it gets here before next week so that i can test it out before our road trip. Has anyone else received their shipping notification yet?

That would be a question for Tesla, my guess would be no as Europe uses CCS type 2 connector not to mention the other differences between North American cars and Europe cars.

Yes it did, I was there a couple months ago and asked while there. My guess is it is for charging cars prior to delivery and testing fast charger issues.

Google maps is showing that is a Canadian tire location, has Electrify Canada installed chargers at other Canadian tire locations? Sherwood park location has a Flo charger so it is possible that it is being installed by Canadian Tire?

I would be careful with the Sask river crossing location as it is powered by a diesel generator and is not always in service based on other peoples reviews of the site. I would confirm that the EVSE is working before heading that way. Might also be worth while topping up at Lake Louise on...

What is the address of this location? I just saw this tweet from @TeslaCharging. They have had wrong pictures in the past (eg Jasper AB) so I wanted to confirm that this is the location discussed in this thread and not another one that I missed.

When I ordered mine August 2020 it was 666.75$ after tax, not sure when the price changed. I have not looked at other EVSC prices but when I ordered mine last year it was the cheapest, not sure it that is still the true.

If it does not have the out of stock flag (see attached photo) then is should be in stock. If you are really worried I would reach out to your local Tesla store and have them confirm stock levels.

I had to replace the windshield on my Model Y this year and I asked around on this form and the local (Edmonton) repair places and was told by several places that only Tesla makes the windshields and at this time no one else is making replacement windshields for the Model 3 & Y.

Not sure if this is need to anyone, when I was looking around after the most recent update I noticed this line under additional vehicle information that there is a line for CCS adaptor support.

those are the supercharger cabinets, the utility transformers are typically green in colour. I wonder if the location for it is off frame to the left. I know the location for the one at Jasper was a bit always from the supercharger cabinets.

I thought that ChargePoint and Flo had an agreement to allow users for each others network to use the chargers with out having to set up another account. I have not personally tried it as I do not currently have an adaptor for either CCS or Chademo, though I plan on getting the CCS to Telsa...

From a tweet from @TeslaCharging the adapter is coming to North America soon. I have seen speculation that it would be around $150 (USD). From what I have read other places it sounds like only the M 3 & Y will be compatible with the adapter initially, I expect that to change at some point...

Flo are CCS and Chademo which are both L2 DCFC (Direct Current Fast Charger), as far as I know there is no L3 standard, just L1 & L2 for AC charging and L1 & L2 for DC charging.

The Edson supercharger is now showing up on the map on Telsa.com, will check my car nav again tonight

I just checked again last night and it is still not showing up on the cars NAV, has anyone else had the station show up? I Wonder if there was an update that has not been pushed to my car.

Interesting, I checked today while we were out doing errands and it was not showing up. I will check tomorrow after the wife gets home from work with the car.

Wow that was fast, I wonder how much business the hotel and restaurant will loose now that the super charger is open and people don’t have to spend a long time charging.

I agree, charging at the Edson L2 is slow and it is goi g to be so much nicer once the Superchargers come on line. I would like to see two super chargers between Jasper and Kamloops, one at Valemont and one further south.

I would say that they started work this week some time, here are some pictures I took tonight while waiting for the car to charge.

Has anyone noticed any site prep at the Edson location? Jasper looks like it is close to being done based on the pictures on the Jasper thread. Still planning on being out that way this week and will try and stop to get some pictures.
