Supercharger - Edison, NJ - US Hwy 1

A second Edison Supercharger popped up Tesla's map. Complete assumption, but I think this one is going to be on the new Wawa being built on Route 1.

Address - 580 Route 1 Edison, NJ

Considering all the new superchargers at Bridgewater and Old Bridge are also at Wawa's, I think this would be a fair guess.

Not sure how I didn't notice this previously, but looks like this is indeed the "new" Edison Supercharger location.

Found this in the August 16 Planning Board minutes:

Proposal for the installation of 8 Tesla-branded electric vehicle supercharging posts with related site improvements.

This charger would alleviate the stress on the Edison and Woodbridge chargers IMO.

IIRC, the Edison and Paramus chargers were the OG chargers in NJ when tesla expanded in NJ.

Drove by today, charger pedestals/handles have been installed but not lit up. Didnt see a transformer installed yet either.

Showing as open in the Tesla app; as of this moment, 7 of 8 stalls open. That should take some of the pressure off the Menlo Park Mall location.
