Stock holder option to jump in line

Did any of you take the option to jump to the head of the line because you own TSLA stock? I was tempted. $100k is about my limit but I really want a Cyberbeast for that money and not an AWD. The Foundation series markup is too high for me but it would be so much fun to have a Cybertruck now-ish while they are still so rare. It will probably be 2025 before my res number comes up.

I have been checking the various sites and no one seems to have received the next steps memo. Messages relayed advise applicants to wait for further definition. It will be interesting to know how far up the line one gets placed.

my reservation is from 12/3/2019 and I submitted my stock shares and have heard nothing….only reason I’m trying to even jump the line is my wife’s Y performance lease is up July and I was going to give her my plaid x and take the cybertruck beast for myself!

I didn't think there were this many individual investors holding ~$85k of TSLA. If you've invested this much in the company then you probably deserve first dibs on the CT.

I submitted my shareholder paperwork a week ago. I ordered CT 12/28 for a Jan - Mar Delivery.

Went to both CT Events. 5 time owner. Blah blah blah...

All to say, I'm IN the line and can't even get a VIN. LOL

I prefer to wait until the quality improves instead paying a penalty to be first.

Not only will that penalty be increase by depreciation, it will also hurt more when the inevitable price decreases come next year or sales to bump demand.

I'm waiting as well but I'm still jealous of the people getting theirs now. I have a 2020 Model Y performance and by being first, missed out on a bunch of features such as heated steering wheel, longer range, double paned glass, and many more. I still love it however and just keep reminding myself it will be worth the wait

You mean your order invite? Did you go AWD to Beast?

Right order invite. Paid the additional $1k deposit as well. AWD, the Beast said delivery in late 2024 and frankly I already have a Plaid and don't need this vehicle to be fast. Rather have more range and save the difference to put into new wheels/tires and a wrap.

I received my invitation to order a Foundation Series on Friday, May 10. I had a very early 2016 X P90D #417 and originally thought maybe I should wait until production is ramped more and they've gotten some of the kinks out. Then I checked into the configuration and realized that if I order the Beast, it won't be ready for delivery until Q4:

Therefore, I plan to order that. It is also after the August 8 "CyberTaxi" reveal, so I expect my $TSLA will be trading higher than it is today, which will make trading in my low-mileage 2023 Model Y less annoying financially. The Foundation Series includes:

I figured this would work in lieu of a Powerwall for blackout backup.
