Downrange the weather for an abort is GO. Looking at the local radar the current weather over Pad 39A is moving east. I'm very optimistic it will clear out before launch.
How about Dragon's name? Bet we hear it right after liftoff.

Rain itself is not a problem.

I heard that too much rain can impede the proper operation of the capsule parachutes. So if there is a capsule abort and it comes down through a storm that could be a problem, which is at least one reason that the down range weather across the Atlantic needs to be monitored.

Interesting. I’ve got the live feed on both SpaceX site and NASA’s site on my phone right now. Only the NASA site will expand to full window on landscape mode. Hmm. If it stays that way you know which one I’ll be viewing from.
