I know about the smelly ac issue but I am curious if this is also related. My car smells like crap all of a sudden when I enter it. I keep it meticulously clean inside so it's not anything left over by a kid. When I turn ac on it vanishes only to return when parked. Any ideas? Smells like a kid vaguely pooped their pants. Not super strong but enough for me to be like wtf

Smelly interior on entry but clears up with AC on

If it were a BMW, I would say it's caused by mold brought on by residual moisture near the AC condenser. An easy way to check is to turn off the AC about 5 minutes before you park and let it sit a few hours. I do this every time I park my BMW when using AC to avoid stinky smells.
