I asked about them leaving the lights on like that and the sales rep said that the 12V battery gets charged from the traction battery. While true, we've often seen reports of 12V failures here so I would be concerned about cycling it that much. Perhaps it isn't anything to worry about.

That appears to have worked. I went by there recently and seeing no cars out front asked where they had gone. They said they had all sold and they have a fresh batch arriving in a few days.

If anybody is around the SLC store, my wife swears she just saw a Model 3 on the transport truck. My assumption is its a Model X, but you never know.

Rumors on this forum state there is a possibility that Tesla will have showroom Model 3s in the next few days. So that may be it if my wife was correct about the spot. I sent her a photo of a 3 by an X and she responded definitely was the 3.

FWIW, I'm at the State Street store as I enter this and no sign of a 3 on the lot or in any of the buildings.

I'm good friends with the staff so I'm sure they would have at least "winked" if a 3 had been here but all all certain no 3 has been here yesterday or today. Darn.

Also, they noted that it took 7 months for the first X to show up here so they are not expecting a 3 here for quite a while. Double darn!

Dang, I'm hoping this is one of those select showrooms that will get a Model 3 to test drive this year.
