red spot in backing up camera

Hi there, just this morning i wanted to backup with the car...the camera went on, but then i say a BIG red dot in the screen...
WHAT is this...is this a software issue of a camera maulfunction thing....

Did you check the camera lens? That looks like something is stuck on the lens.

No because it flikkers on and off.....hahahaha

If it flickers off and on, and you can backup without warnings that the camera vision is blocked, it must be a software bug. Reboot!
