Rear facing seatbelt twisted

Does anyone know how to untwist the rear facing seatbelt? I have no idea how this happened. The whole thing is so tight I can't get it to twist around again.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

There have been several cases of this. The strange fix seems to be, pull it all the way out, twist it 180 degrees to make it the 'right' way, let it wind all the way in, and it should fix itself. I didn't believe it either, but others with the issue say it does work (and it's the Tesla fix also). I surmise there's a twist inside and this reverses it?

Edit: Whoops, I didn't look close enough to see this was a jump seat... not sure that works exactly the same way!

Are you sure it isn't the plastic chest buckle that got turned the funny way and not the belt? Those belts are all manual adjust and bolted down at the end.

It is hard, but you have to fold over the strap and pull it through to correct it.
