Really loud noise after new launch mode

I just tried the new launch mode a few times and came home and parked. Car sounds like a super loud fan and humming sound, like really loud and never heard it in 6 months of ownership. Raven model s performance.

this is not the normal fan sound you can here sometimes I am use to. Or the normal battery sounds I am use to hearing when parked and charging.

Btw after a few minutes it stopped...it sounded like my car was not happy

Fans kick in to cool the battery. It is quite loud. Happens a lot after a hard acceleration run. Was there also a bang or clank sound?

Fans and the air conditioning compressor for active battery and motor cooling. Pretty normal after a few launches.

I don’t know I heard a loud bang, but it was definitely a first sound and got me wife to ask me what that sound was coming out of the garage heard it in the house)

Not that I have the P100D, but was there not something mentioning about allowing continuous launches? if that's a thing, maybe they are doing some massive cooling on the motors, stator, ect. ... And like most magic cooling that happens on a Tesla, we may not know how, why or when the fans run.

If it's just a loud fan sound, it's perfectly normal. The car is just cooling off the pack.

It sounds like a small prop airplane, which I guess you can say sounds like a fan...

I've had this on my p100d after using max battery power for a few runs. It's as loud as a gas car engine basically

First time I stomped the go-pedal in my P85, I heard a blood curdling scream come from the inside of my car. I looked around to see who it was. There was no body else in the car. It was me !!

With latest launch mode they increased cooling to allow multiple runs, closer together.
