Has anyone doctored their phone charger to accept a phone in a "thick" case (Otterbox, etc.)? My new phone charges fine on the wireless pad I use on my nightstand with the cover on; and it worked fine in the car before I got the cover; so I assume it would be fine, electrically, with the car's charger. However, it's too thick with the cover on: it's physically incompatible with the charger, the wedges that hold the phone to the pad are set too thin.
Has anyone modded their charger to accept a thicker phone? Any suggestions on how to do so? I'm a fan of where the factory accessory sits / hides behind the folding door in the console, so I'm not eager to get an aftermarket one that sticks out of a cupholder or is glued to the dash....
