Transpower are warning there may well not be enough power to go around at 7am.

Usually the offered generation is based on historical load requirements at this time of the year. There is an unseasonably cold snap moving across NZ.

…the point of the Transpower warning is to inform generators that there is insufficient offered generation for tomorrow’s morning peak. The weather forecast requires more.

…in response generators generate more electricity to meet estimated demand.
